Manual Therapy and the Primo Vascular System
PVTRI provides professional education in the anatomy, identification, palpation, and therapeutic investigation of the Primo Vascular System.
The training brings together experimental PVS research with the perceptual and manual traditions of osteopathy and related disciplines. Its purpose is not simply to teach a collection of techniques, but to develop the practitioner’s ability to recognize PVS structures, understand their anatomical organization, and interact with them through informed manual exploration.
An Anatomical and Perceptual Approach
Manual investigation of the PVS begins with anatomy, but anatomy alone is not enough. The practitioner must also learn to distinguish what is actually being perceived beneath the hands from what is expected to be there.
PVTRI training therefore emphasizes perception before interpretation. Students learn to approach known anatomical territories as places of investigation rather than fixed treatment points, developing progressively more precise criteria for recognizing primo-nodes, primo-vessels, tissue responses, and regional patterns.
This approach allows PVS treatment to develop from observation and palpatory experience rather than from memorized maps alone.
Who Is the Training For?
PVTRI education is intended for practitioners with an existing background in hands-on healthcare and therapeutic practice, including osteopaths, practitioners of acupuncture and East Asian medicine, physiotherapists, massage and manual therapists, and other appropriately trained professionals.
No previous experience with the Primo Vascular System is required for introductory training. The program progresses from foundational anatomy and palpation toward increasingly detailed investigation of routes, territories, and therapeutic relationships.
